“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:24-25
Holy Cross believes that much of the growth in one’s Christian life is experienced through personal and small group Bible Study and fellowship. These Small Groups provide the foundations of our everyday living and provide an opportunity us to strengthen and encourage one another. We invite you to become a part of these ministries, as God has intended for each of us to grow in His ways.
The Adult Bible study will prepare you for Sunday worship with a rich, in-depth study of the Word, challenging you to live out your faith in your everyday life as the light of the world.
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) equips and encourages all women to live out their Christian lives through active mission ministries and support for global missions, serving the Lord with gladness. The LWML meets on the first Sunday of each month and participates in conventions, local Tropical Zone inspirational rallies, and various local and global hands-on mission events. They also host servant events, special gatherings, fundraisers, and parties that inspire and uplift through the joy of fellowship.
Women's Bible Studies offer a supportive environment for women to grow in their faith through studying Scripture and fellowship. Participants gather regularly to explore the Bible, share insights, and pray together. Joining a Women's Bible Study group is a wonderful opportunity for spiritual growth and building meaningful relationships within the church community. Contact the church for more details.
Periodically our church has Small Group studies. If you’d like to participate in one of these additional groups, please call the church office at 305-893-0371 to see if one is in session.
Kids 4 Christ provides an engaging, kid-friendly atmosphere that will lay a foundation for your child’s faith in the years to come. In our classes, your child will learn and study basic Bible stories and key verses, and will deepen their understanding through art, songs, games, and other interactive activities.
Our Middle School classes provide more advanced curriculum while still keeping an engaging and fun atmosphere. Bible stories and verses are still studied in these classes, but involve more critical thinking and life application. Our Middle School kids also become more involved in service opportunities during our church services and church events.
The High School group provides a time of deeper relationship development. Its primary focus is the youth's individual relationship with Jesus, and as a part of that, the group strives to learn more about how that faith relationship works by growing in relationship with each other and with those youth's various communities. This happens through a study of the Word, topical discussion, in-depth conversation, and group events, including local/national youth gatherings.
